SUBJECT STANDARD FORMAT FOR AGENDA OF MEETINGS OF THE


GOVERNING BOARDS OF STATE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES
(SUCs)

Pursuant to Section 5 of R.A. 8292 which provides, "Promulgation and Implementation of


Policies — The governing boards shall promulgate and implement policies in accordance with
the declared state policies on education and other pertinent provisions of the Philippine
Constitution on education, science and technology, arts, culture and sports; as well as the
policies, standards ang thrusts of the CHED under Republic Act No. 7722.", and the pertinent
provisions of R.A. 7722, and as approved by the Commission en Banc through Resolution No.
452-2014, a standard format of the agenda of the governing boards of SUCs (Attached as
Annex "A") is hereby prescribed.

The Board Presidents and Secretaries of the Governing boards of SUCs shall ensure
compliance with this Order, for efficiency in the conduct of board meetings and preparation of
Board meeting folders/kits. Board meeting folders should be submitted by the Board Secretary
to the Chairperson and Members of the governing board at least five (5) working days before
the scheduled board meeting, and should be alerted at all times on directives and instructions
from the Chairperson of the governing board.

This CAO shall take effect immediately.
