Since 1986, Islamic Relief has been working with orphans in over 22 countries across the world. We sponsor more than 30,000 orphans by caring for their basic needs i.e. food, shelter, healthcare, education and emotional support.

In South Africa, we currently care for more than 1,200 orphans and their households through food support and additional services, which are run through our Osizweni Community Centres in Ennerdale (Johannesburg South), Wyebank (Durban) and Tafelsig (Cape Town) i.e. Aftercare, Day Care, Tuition Programmes, Skills Training, Gardening, Health Screenings, etc. Join us for a live pledge on ITV (DSTV ch 347) on Wednesday 15 th May 2013 from 18h30pm, when we take your donations, which will enable us to roll out this project to other areas in South Africa.
