Some techniques that will help wireless security include WPA or WPA2, creating an access list for the access points, preventing the access points from broadcasting their SSIDs, etc. Security can be stricter for employee WLANs, since access is limited to internal users. Public WLANs, for example, are not conducive to access list limitations.
