Godparent Requirements Godparents will need to provide Our Lady of Angels with at letter from their current parish

that they are a registered member, and are an active, Confirmed Catholic in good standing with the Church. One godparent must be Catholic while the other godparent does not have to be Catholic and is considered a Christian witness. Letters may be mailed, faxed, or dropped off at the parish office. Please ask that your childs name be referenced in the letter.

Parents and Godparents are required by the Diocese of Dallas to attend a Baptism Preparation Class. If you anticipate presenting a child for baptism within the next 6 months, please Our Lady of Angels Parish Office for more information and class registration.
