Upcoming Events: Secret Church March 29 (Good Friday), 6 p.m. to midnight. Grace will host a Secret Church Simulcast. Secret Church consists of 6 intense hours of biblical teaching and prayer for the persecuted church, led by David Platt, pastor of The Church at Brook Hills in Birmingham, Alabama. This years study topic is Heaven, Hell, and the End of the World. Easter Egg Hunt March 30, 4 p.m. Graces annual Easter egg hunt will be at the Overstreets farm (126 County Road 376). If you would like to help with this event, please come to the church Wednesday evening at 6 p.m. to help stuff the eggs. Donations for egg stuffing items are needed. At the event, we will also need donations of baked goods, lemonade or bottled water. Please contact Jenny Crowson for more information (662-202-6296). Oxford Food Pantry April is Graces month of maintaining and serving clients at our local food pantry. We are going to place an emphasis on meeting the needs of those with diabetes this month as we serve. The pantry has asked in particular items with low or no sugar, low sodium or no salt added, such as canned vegetables with low sodium or fruit with no added sugar. High School Senior Recognition April 28. On Sunday, April 28, we plan to recognize our graduating high school seniors. We will recognize the seniors and their parents, pray for them, and give the graduates a gift. If you would like to participate in this service, please contact the church office. Two services this Sunday, March 31 (Easter Sunday). Grace will have a 9:15 and 10:45 service this Sunday (no 5 p.m. service). J.D. Shaw will be preaching from Luke 24. We will have a nursery for children in kindergarten and under at both services, and Sunday school classes for older children. For the month of April (April 7, 14,21,28), we plan on having three services each Sunday. Fellowship time on Sunday morning: In order to encourage more conversation and fellowship in the church, light breakfast foods and snacks will be provided in the lobby between the close of the first service and the beginning of the second service on Sunday. We want to encourage you to grab some food and coffee, find a friend, and enjoy good conversation on Sunday mornings. Youth Group will NOT meet this Sunday (Easter Sunday), but will resume again the following Sunday as usual.

Moreover, how does a father instill these qualities in his son? Beginning with a biblical perspective of manhood, Grace will do a six-week study from Robert Lewis that shares a unique approach to shaping a boy into a man. Opportunities to Serve Childrens Workers Needed: Our childrens ministry is growing at Grace Bible Church, and along with it our need for workers. We still need help in our childrens department on Sunday mornings, and as we schedule our workers in advance we know we are short for the months of April and May. If you would like to serve, contact Angela Davis at 662-816-9110, or fill out the tear-off tab and indicate which group of children youd like to work with and which time you can serve. Long-Range Planning Committee: Grace has formed a committee to look at various options for a future church facility. If you have any ideas, please contact Jeff McManus at jmcmanus@olemiss.edu. Make A Note . . . We are in the process of forming new community groups at Grace that will begin meeting this spring. If you are new to Grace and would like to be a part of a community group, contact Jim Davis, one of our pastors, at 662-816-9220. If youve been a part of a community group before and, for whatever reason, it didnt work out, please try a new group. The elders at Grace are convinced that all Christians need the fellowship, friendship, encouragement, and prayer that only involvement in a small group of believers can bring. Regents School of Oxford Multi-Family Rummage Sale fundraiser Saturday, April 6, from 7 a.m. 1 p.m. The fundraiser will take place at the Regents' gymnasium. There will be a $5 admission fee.
