Teacher Guide Objectives Get students to think about what healthy eating is and how to improve their eating habits both at home and school. And what is an appropriate portion size. Place some foods eaten over the past couple of days from teacher and students onto a food pyramid. Followed by discussion of why foods were placed into those categories Members of the group

Student Guide/ Students will write in pairs (think-pairshare) about what they have eaten over the past 24hrs. They will then create a food pyramid of their own talking about good choices and bad. Coming up with what they could have done better. Students will share their groups poster and explain their findings. Materials Needed Paper Pencil Magazines Glue Scissors Poster paper Markers Tape
