SCHOOL DETECTIVES

Narrator: Mrs Jones is going to be 105 years old next June. The children from Class 6 are going to make a documentary about her. George: What questions are we going to ask? Gina: We can ask about her job and her birthday celebrations. Narrator: The children write their script and visit Mrs Jones the next day. George: How are you going to celebrate your birthday? Mrs Jones: My grandson is going to take me to the gym! Narrator: The next day, the children watch the video of the interview. They decide on some music to accompany the video. Suddenly, George and Gina notice something in the background. George: Just a minute! Is that man jumping out of the window? Gina: Yes! Weve got live footage of a real burglar! Narrator: George and Gina run to the newsagents to buy a newspaper. On the front page there is an article. Gina: Here it is! Newspaper: (Burglar strikes again in Littlewood). George: Please call Detective Nabb with any information Narrator: The children run quickly back to school and call the police. Detective: Police. George: Hello! Can I speak to Detective Nabb, please? Detective: This is Detective Nabb. Have you got any information for me? Narrator: A few minutes later, the police arrive at the school. They watch the video and take it away as evidence. The police recognise the burglars jacket. The next day, the children buy the newspaper on the way to school. Newspaper: (School Newspaper reporters catch Littlewood Burglar).
