We would like to draw your kind attention on the above cited reference and subject matter wherein it has been clarified that henceforth, no officiating promotion/local officiating arrangement to the grade of JAO may be given on the basis of Personnel Branch, CO BSNL under Pers. Cell letter no. 412-13/2013-Pers.I(I) dated 22.03.2013. Whereas, the above cited Pers. Cell letter dated 22.03.2013 was issued regarding local officiating arrangements in the executive cadres. In this case the local officiating promotion is being given from non-executive cadres to executive cadres. Hence this order has no relevance with the local officiating promotion from non-executive cadres to JTO/JAO cadres. Likewise, the local officiating promotion from non-executive cadres (TTAs) to JTO Officiating is still continuing. In view of this withdrawal of local officiating arrangements from Sr. Account/JAO Part-I qualified candidates to JAO officiating is not justified and not in the interest of individuals as well as BSNL. We would therefore request you to kindly restore local officiating arrangements from Sr. Account/JAO Part-I qualified candidates to JAO officiating at the earliest. Thanking you,
