We all know about the importance of water in sustaining life of all species on the planet. This natural resource covers about 70% of the land surface, however, about 3% of this volume is freshwater.

In addressing this issue in the classroom is very important that the teacher promotes environmental awareness of students. For this, the water is not an infinite resource and that it is necessary to its rational use and preservation of its quality.

The World Water Day was established by the UN (United Nations) on March 22, 1992. The March 22 of each year, is intended for discussion of various topics related to this important natural asset.
