Kelseys Current Job Description: Sunday Morning Worship o I arrive around 8:30am to unlock the doors, open up the

e building and all classrooms/needed space for the morning, turn on lights--etc. Dick Newstrand usually comes around then to make coffee and set up the kitchen for hospitality. o Set up the sanctuary if things have been moved--ie, the altar table, the piano, fix chairs... o Turn on the TV and computer to get Media Shout up and running. If a script hasn't already been created I pull up a few slides to create a script for that Sunday. o Altar guild and others setting up for worship usually have questions or need doors unlocked, so I am usually helping with worship set up as needed. o Ushers/Dianne arrives between 9 and 9:15. Ushers set out bulletins and greet individuals as they come. o By 9 or 9:15 I am greeting people as they come, talking with people as needed and running around until worship begins. o During worship I will either preside/preach or mostly, make announcements as needed for ministry opportunities. o After worship is finished, I am usually at POG until 11:30, or 12, depending on how long coffee hour goes, to make sure lights are off, doors are shut and front door is locked. Dick Newstrand, and a few others know how to lock the doors. Also, we do not alarm the building after worship, because the Estonian church arrives within an hour after we leave. Preaching/Presiding o 1-3 Times per month o Sermons o Wednesday Text Study (occasionally) PowerPoint/Media Shout o Weekly creation of the Media Shout script for worship. o Jon Ortiz has been working on a few weeks scripts, still wants to help when he can o Sound system has a small group trained, will need to continue to involve/train more individuals for Sound and Media Shout Packs for Kids o Joan Smith is the point person on this project, and a few others with her o Working to support Joan/others involved Coins for a Cause o Once a month, using a sign-up sheet for suggested groups or ministries to support o Asking those interested in supporting a group or ministry to speak on behalf of the group o Once coins are collected I take the coins to a CoinStar to get counted, deposit with Cliff and submit a check request for the group/ministry behalf o Will present CFC to Leadership team to see if they wish to continue this ministry, and perhaps to create a team to continue with, or if they wish to move in a new direction. Generations o Done for the summer, Leadership Team is working on what to do for Sunday School come fall. We have a few families with interest in SS, but not a huge need from week to week Sunday Morning: Worship Developer o Position is currently filled with Diane as Interim. The hope was to be able to continue searching to fill this position with hopes to rebuild/renovate Sunday worship experiences o Incorporate different music Worship Experiences o Advent o Holy Week o Special services (working with Norma and Diane to coordinate) o Create/Design, set up, lead/facilitate, and disassemble worship experiences for each service

Living Through The Seasons-Life Group/Bible Study o Meet every Wednesday: 10:00am-11:45am o Facilitate/resource group o Group Retreats o Pastoral visits with group members when needed o This group is facilitated by Carol Loges and Janet Sheldrick, and they will continue to facilitate the group moving forward.
