Time 6:30 9:00 AM 7:00 - 8:30 AM 9:00 9:45 AM Activity Arrival Breakfast Outside/Gym Play Description Free Play *Weather permitting* Children have the choice of playing on the jungle gym, riding tricycles, drawing with chalk, blowing bubbles, running around etc. Morning routine: Sing songs, introduce theme, read stories, estimation jar and introduce small group activities. Various activity centers: blocks, home living, art, math, science, sensory table, writing or library. Whole class gets together and children individually show or tell what they did during small group time. Children either nap or rest quietly on their cot. *Weather permitting* Children have the choice of playing on the jungle gym, riding tricycles, drawing with chalk, blowing bubbles, running around etc. Afternoon routine: recall feelings from the morning activities, talk about theme, read stories, introduce small group activities. Various activity centers: blocks, home living, art, math, science, sensory table, writing or library.
