The African migration and Development Policy Centre (AMADPOC), is a non profit organisation that aims to undertake and streamline policy oriented research, training and dialogue on internal as well as international forms of voluntary, forced and irregular migration. RESEARCH ASSISTANT INTERNS AMADPOC wishes to invite applications for internship to persons who should be in possession of; A masters degree in either humanities and social sciences, or statistics; Have knowledge or interest in migration; Results driven; Able to work independently and as part of a team; Have computer literacy; Able to communicate in Swahili and English Languages.

Duties and Responsibilities Support the Research and Data Hub( RDH)programme Support both the Training and Capacity Building (TCB) and the Policy Dialogue and Networking (PDN) programmes Document management for the resource centre Giving support in all other related activites as required by the Centre and its researchers

Duration of the internship will be for a period of three months Deadline for application is on the 30th September, 2012.
