Introduction to ISIS PROTEUS


First of all, locate ISIS on your desktop and launch ISIS PROTEUS by clicking its icon as shown in following figure.

A dialog box will open asking you to view sample designs. Select No.

Click on P to pick required devices as shown:

In the new window, type a keyword of your desired device e.g. AT89C51. Double click a device name to pick it.

In a similar way pick other devices as shown below:

: Connect these devices according to standard connection diagram for AT89C51. To get GROUND and POWER click on Inter-sheet Terminal button

After complete connections, your model should look like the one shown below:

Click on Instant edit mode button.

Click on microcontroller to get the following window popped up. Here you can select your desired Program (hex) File to simulate.

Browse C:\Keil\EE04.hex and click OK.

Click on the left most button shown below to test your hex file.
