The Participation and Motivation to use modern technologies in

Higher education

Abstract

New tools for learning, multimedia, e-learning and digitally mediated learning
have changed the Learning environments. Educational leadership and management
realised this change. So they are willing to adopt such types of Learning environments
in educational institutions. the usage and significance of e-technologies in Higher
education changing shape of educational institutions, and changing sites of learning in
the world. This paper presents an overiew and analyse minutely for the Participation
and Motivation to use modern technologies in Higher education The major objectives
of the study will be; 1) To investigate the Effectiveness of innovated technologies. 2) To
find out the Impact of modern technologies in Studies. 3) To evaluate the Satisfaction
of Student and Teacher to use modern learning tools.

All faculty members and administrators of education public and private universities
working in twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad (Pakistan) will be the population of the
study. Two Public and private universities from each will be taken randomly as sample of
which 5 administrators, 10 teachers and 20 students from each university will be randomly
selected as respondents. 1) International Islamic university Islamabad 2) Agricultural
university Rawaqlpindi. 3) National university of modern Languages. 4) Princeton
university Islamabad.
Two questionnaires will be prepared, one questionnaire for the faculty members
and second for the administrators/ expertise of education for the purpose to explore the
Participation and Motivation to use technologies in Higher education. Collected data will
be analysing by applying appropriate statistical techniques. On the bases of findings,

conclusion will be drawn and recommendations will be formulated.
