Overview: The Ostomy Associations of America, or OAA, is one of the three Regional Associations that comprise the International

Ostomy Association, or IOA. OAA consists of two sub-regional associations: The North and Central America and Caribbean Ostomy Association and the Asociacion Latino Americana de Ostomizados, or ALADO. OAA maintains two websites: www.ostomyamericas.org (English text), and www.ostomiaamericas.org (Spanish text). OAA was organized in November, 2010.

OAA will hold its first Regional Conference in Cordoba, Argentina, on October 7-12, 2013. The meeting will be held in the Hotel Utedyc. The cost for room and meals for this 5 day meeting is $470. US/person double occupancy. There is no registration fee. The proceedings will be held in Spanish with limited English translation available.
