Process Description Ethyl acetate (EA), water and ethanol mixture is fed to first column and EA is removed in this column. Bottom product of first column is fed to second column to remove ethanol at azeotropic composition. The required ethanol purity is 94.5 % (wt). The typical feed condition is Ethyl Acetate Water Ethanol Operating Conditions Pressure : Both columns are operating under atmospheric pressure : 1-5 % (wt) : 45-55 % (wt) : 45-55% (wt)

Column Internals :Structured packing for first column (Type 2.5L) Wire mesh packing for second column (Type WM) Experience Fenix Process Technologies Pvt.
