Transitions & Base Program (2012) First year student program based on a higher retention and graduation rate for Black Students at the University of Cincinnati, assisting students with their adjustment to college by providing workshops and mentors. United Black Student Leadership Committee 2013) Programming and organizing events promoting African Heritage and Black culture. As well as promoting the talents and accomplishments of the University of Cincinnati student body. Gentlemens Quarterly - Community Affairs Chair (2013) Pioneering student group operating from the University of Cincinnati. GQ aims to unite all men of color by means of promoting brotherhood, community service, and mentorship. University Honors Seminar - Public Health in Southern Africa (2013) A faculty-led study tour of Botswana and South Africa, studying the public health care system of these countries as well as modes of transmission and pathogen cycles of diseases such as HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

30 total hours completed During the school year took part in sponsoring walks, helping in childrens homes, recycling and participating in other volunteer efforts Columbus Department of Public Utilities, Division of Water Intern (2012 and 2013) Worked in Water Lab and Hoover Dam reservoir, performing environmental preservation at various basins, parks and prairies. Abercrombie & Fitch Model (July 2012- August 2012) Worked at Abercrombie & Fitch Home Office in Flagship Store, organizing clothes and putting together projects YMCA Swim Instructor/Lifeguard (March 2012 July 2012) Assigned pool is located in an urban area with an average work week of 35 hours.
