Develop and implement the training curriculum for Orientation Leaders, including workshops, retreats, and 14 weeks of intensive training sessions. Curriculum covers leadership, group facilitation, interpersonal communication, campus resources, cultural fluency, and conflict management. Supervise 50 undergraduate orientation leaders and 5 Student Coordinators throughout summer orientation and the academic year. Collaborate with over 30 campus departments and organizations in both Academic and Student Affairs to organize information fairs at all orientation and recruitment events. Support the implementation of 25 Bama Bound orientation sessions (including 15 two-day sessions) welcoming over 7,000 first year and transfer students to the University, as well as 5 Admissions preview days hosting over 2,500 prospective students and families. Admissions Office, Ursinus College (May 2010 May 2011) Undergraduate Admissions Fellow Serve as 1 of only 8 senior students selected to represent the institution at recruitment events and in-house counseling sessions. Conduct up to 20 interviews with prospective students each week throughout the summer and fall of 2010, providing evaluations for prospective students and making recommendations for admission. Counsel and advise prospective students and families in individual and group information sessions. Evaluate over 100 prospective students applications to Ursinus and make recommendations for admission and scholarship to the Director. STUDENT AFFAIRS EXPERIENCE: First-Year Experience and Parent Programs, The University of Alabama (August 2012-Present) Graduate Intern Advise 30 Peer Leaders as they mentor first year students and co-teach freshman seminar courses. Develop training curriculum and co-teach semester long Peer Leader course. Develop and implement recruitment and selection plans for the hiring of 24 extended orientation leaders and 30 Peer Leaders. Support the planning and development of new 3-day long extended orientation program. Housing and Residential Communities, The University of Alabama (July 2011-May 2012 Assistant Community Director (Graduate Assistant) Supervise 24 Resident Advisors across three traditional Residence Halls. Implement curriculum for 2-week long intensive summer training session and annual workshops. Manage all community-wide and in-hall programming, including up to 20 in-hall programs per week and 3 large scale programs throughout the year. Programs include learning outcomes focused on civic engagement, academic success, physical and mental wellbeing, campus engagement, and diversity. Manage facilities for over 200 rooms across 3 buildings and respond to any emergency facility situations. Support the day-to-day needs of over 600 residents, including over 200 students in special programs such as the English Language Institute (international students), First Scholars (First Generation), and Crimson Connections (atrisk students). Advise 4 Hall Council Officers and support the programming needs of the Residence Hall Association.

Student population predominantly includes upperclassman athletes and students in fraternities and sororities. Implement in-hall programs each week and community-wide programs once a month, geared towards safety, involvement, civic engagement, academic success, healthy living, and drug/alcohol awareness. TEACHING & RESEARCH: PL101: Peer Leader Training Course, Co-Instructor, The University of Alabama (September 2012- December 2012) 2-credit course designed to train 30 Peer Leaders to be active and effective mentors in their first year seminar courses.
