How to get there?

Air: Philippine Airlines and Cebu Pacific provide flights daily to the Legazpi Airport which approximately takes 45 minutes from Manila and 1 hour from Cebu. There are also minor domestic airports in Naga City and Sorsogon. Asian Spirit also flies from Manila to Catanduanes and back thrice weekly. Land: Araneta Center and EDSA terminals provide bus rides from Manila to Bicol which takes 10 hours or more. In the Araneta Center terminal, No. 11 BLTB bus destination is Sorsogon while the No. 15 Philtranco bus destinations are Sorsogon, Bulan, Tabaco, Legazpi, Naga and Iriga daily. In EDSA terminal, No. 18 BLTB goes to Bicol. There is also a train which travels from Manila to Bicol, but this train tends to be slow and could be dangerous. Sea: From Cebu, you can travel to Masbate for about 12 hours. From Masbate, you travel to the town of Pilar for another 2 hours before you can head off to any other destination in Region V. You can also choose to travel to Samar for 14 hours. From Samar, you travel to Sorsogon for 2 hours.
