Work sample summary Students utilised a commercial web site to assist in the planning and design of a domestic kitchen. They were expected to refer to commercially available flat packs to develop the layout and placement of appliances for their kitchen. As the major part of this task, students were required to produce a variety of sketches utilising pictorial drawing methods to assist in the development of their kitchen plan. They were also expected to outline the reasons for their selections and to provide an evaluation of their final design against the design brief.
