and see the information presented to them clearly in order to achieve full understanding. We will make sure that all auditory information is presented in a clear fashion and that all print is large, colorful in important places, and organized.
Information should not be presented in just an audio form. There should be a visual for

students who learn better with visuals or with both visual and audio. Students who do not learn well through sound will fall behind when presented with only auditory information. We will use visual equivalents for sound effects as well as sound effects in our presentation. We will also have pictures and words that represent all spoken or recorded language.

Images, graphics, animations, videos, and text should have non-visual descriptors for non-visual learners. We will explain all visuals out loud to ensure full understanding by all types of learners. We will also use interactive

activities so that students who learn better by doing can be more hands on. 2. Provide options for language, mathematical expressions, and symbols 2.1 2.2 Clarify vocabulary and symbols Clarify syntax and structure

should be a visual and auditory aspect to it. In our presentation, we will explain all vocabulary out loud, have it written on the board, and have pictures to represent the vocabulary word. We will also use stories or pop culture references to help create a connection between the students and the vocabulary or symbolism. For some vocabulary, sound clips and videos can be used to explain the vocabulary word. 2.2 Using multiple explanations to clarify unfamiliar syntax is important. Highlighting transition words in an essay, using concept maps, and making connections to previously learned structures could be helpful in clarification. We will make sure that all of the important elements of our presentation are highlighted for extra clarification.
2.3 Students need to be able to connect to a text, a mathematical notation, or a symbol in order to fully understand it. While some learn to

We will make sure to have audio recordings and multiple representations for different symbols used in our UDL Guidelines Educator Checklist Version 2 presentation.
