How to make classroom libraries more accessible and engaging for students with significant disabilities

Classroom Libraries
download interactive books on iPads create a collection of tactile books organize books by author, topic with easy to understand symbols this increases independence because students can put books back where they belong or find books they like more easily create story boxes for selected books (i.e., tangible materials that go with story)

Classroom Libraries
use themed stickers on spines of books for easy selection (e.g., Christmas tree sticker Christmas books) leveled book boxes, but also organized by them or subject (leveled within these) create variety by including magazines and comics display books cover out more like Chapters/Indigo less like an intervention resource room!
