    The annual PDX pilot base picnic will be held on September 7, 2013 from 3pm to 10pm at Captain Doug Kempf's airstrip and picnic area located at 4403 NE 290th St La Center WA 98629. Attendees are invited to fly or drive in for burgers, dogs, and a campfire with swimming available. Attendees should RSVP by September 1st including the number in their party and if they will bring a side dish or salad. The cost is $10 per family or $5 if arriving by plane or car.
