    The 3rd annual PDX pilot base picnic will be held on September 8, 2012 from 3 pm to 10 pm at Capt. Doug Kempf's airstrip and picnic area located at 4403 NE 290th St La Center WA 98629. Pilots are encouraged to fly in and others to drive in for burgers, dogs, swimming and campfire fun for $10 per family or $5 if arriving by airplane or car plus a side dish or salad. RSVPs by September 1st are requested.

    Got an airplane?...land at the picnic. Got a cool car?....bring it and show it off. Dont forget bathing suit and towel swimming hole in river at site.
