1. What is Management? Management is the manner of treating, carrying on, or using for a purpose, conduct, administration, cautious handling on treatment. Management is a combination of an art and science. It is because it results in the accomplishment of objectives through the use of human effort. It becomes a science because it is a systematic body of knowledge. It uses an analyzation and gathering of information.

Four major functions of management? Explain. 1. Planning Planning is the mental effort by which executive anticipate the possible cause or factors that may effect on change the activities and objectives of a particular organization with the end in view of controlling the nature and direction of change and determination. 2. Organizing Organization is an act of organizing on the state of being organized. It refers in the means employed to encourage all personnel in the organization to accomplish whatever assignments may be given then by management in order to achieve the objectives in the manners they were planned and organize. 3. Leading Leading is the exhibiting skills in these areas for getting others to play an effective part in achieving plans. 4. Controlling Controlling checking progress against plans, which may need modification based on feedback
