Nowadays, Learning English language is very important that cannot be denied by everyone who use English language .

It is used widely in the world, as well as in educational field and everydays real life situation .Also, almost college students are required for English language proficiency certificates before they graduating from their university .so to increase students motivation to study is not easy, it depends on what teacher do but it is partially necessary to focus on material selection. In this critical review that was written by Hsiang-Ni Lee at National University, Taiwan is about using childrens literature to explore the issue of exclusion: Language learning through personal connections, multiple perspectives and critical reflections. In this critical review, first he wants to explain fully the strengths of using childrens literature to enhance English learning and thinking .Then, he will figure out a basic overview on major reading theories, with a focus on why the recent socio-constructivist approach can bring the most benefits to language learners. The last goal of this project is to highlight the effectiveness of using quality childrens literature in adult EFL instruction and the importance of language learning through personal connections, multiple interpretations and reflective discussions. This project helps us to know how to promote literature- based literacy instruction which values language learners personal connections, multiple perspectives and critical reflections .we really impress about clear layout, design and language type .Moreover, we will summarize what the content of the article is and we will make clear about some strengths and some weaknesses of the article.
