Race Report Red Bull Pro Nationals.

Rd 5, Canada Heights, 3 & 4 August 2013

Saturday morning at the Canada Heights circuit & the sun was shining. The MX1 & MX2 Pro races are run together, in the same race, but scored separately.

Qualifying: The track started off really wet. Nev was feeling good & enjoying the track went fastest in his MX2 group. Race 1: Nev spun up on the concrete start & was mid pack round the first corner. He got to work straight away, passing MX2 & MX2 alike. He went on to finish in 3rd position.

Sunday Race 2: This time Nev got a flying start. After the first lap he was 3rd, in the whole group of riders, & 1st MX2 rider by a long way. He pushed on & finished in 1st position, in MX2. Race 3: Another good start, though with a lot of MX1 riders ahead, Nev was the 3rd placed MX2 rider. He had to do a lot of hard work to pass the MX1 riders to try & catch up to the 2 MX2 riders, he was racing. With a couple of laps to go he had caught up with Lenior, in 2nd, though not close enough to make a pass. Nev finished in 3rd position.

Overall: A great weekend for us, on the top step of the podium. Nev takes the overall win on the day with 65 points. He now leads the championship & is the red plate holder.

Next races Round 7 of the Maxxis British Championship is 11 August at Hawkstone. Round 6 of the British Master, 18 August at Brookthorpe.
