Indo-Chinese style

VEGETABLE MANCHURIAN RECIPE


Ingredients:

2 cups finely chopped cabbage 1/2 cup Spring onion 1 cup carrot 1 large Capsicum 2 stalks Celery inch - Ginger 5 cloves of Garlic 2 tsps -Green chilli paste Salt to taste

Method:

1. Squeeze out water from the cabbage and carrot....sprinkle salt and leave
aside for 30 mins

2. Add the capsicum, celery, ginger, garlic, green chilli pastes (salt to taste) 3. Mix well 4. Add flours- 2-3 heaped tblsp cornflour, 4 tblsp heaped maida, .......rice flour
* check while test frying whether it is bindingif not.add more of the flours

5. Make a dough and shape small balls 6. Heat oil in a wok on medium fire 7. fry the balls till golden brown
For the Manchurian sauce: In a non-stick wok + chopped garlic + ginger paste + chilli sauce (red chilli flakes and tomato puree) + sweet-sour sauce/ ketchup + saya sauce + little salt + spring onions chopped + little celery / coriander chopped Heat on a flame +cornflour 2 tblsp + 1/4 cup water Garnish with spring onion + garlic (be careful as balls fry very fast)
