Holy Week in Ayacucho is the second largest in the world after that of Sevilla (Spain) .6 7 In these two cities remain the ancient rituals of Holy Week, which feels and receives a special religious fervor. In this Latin American capital of Holy Week, the festival is celebrated for ten days, in which the population and tourists participate in religious ceremonies and processions, as well as cultural, artistic, gastronomic and commercial. The particularity of this Easter is that European traditions mixed with Andean cultural features.
