    Heschel Heat Fall 2013 Team Pre-Season Try-Out Packet and Information
    FALL TEAMS Girls JV Volleyball Girls Varsity Volleyball Boys & Girls Cross Country Boys Soccer (Girls can try out for the boys team) The pre-season and Try-Outs are MANDATORY for all students interested in playing on the schools teams. These pre-season sessions are designed to provide you with the best opportunities to try out for any of these teams . The students should attend the earliest scheduled try-out for the team(s) of interest. There are 6 forms attached to be signed by the parent and student. They are medical and permission forms which are a prerequisite for participation in any team sport including try-outs. Please note: all coaches reserve the right to change practice times and dates and to call Sunday practices if needed. FALL SPORTS PRE SEASON AND TRY-OUT SCHEDULE: Girls JV & Varsity Volleyball Try-Outs will run from 10AM-4PM on 8/19, 8/20, 8/21, 8/22, 8/23, 8/26, 8/27, 8/28, 8/29 and 8/30 in the gym. Girls JV Volleyball Practice (once school starts): 5-6:30PM Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays 10AM-12PM. Girls Varsity Volleyball Practice (once school starts): 6:30-8PM Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays 5PM-7PM. Boys & Girls Cross Country Try-Outs will run from 10AM-12PM on 8/19, 8/20, 8/21, 8/22, 8/23, 8/26, 8/27, 8/28, 8/29 and 8/30. Cross Country meet at East 97th St. and 5th Ave. Boys & Girls Cross Country Practice (once school starts): 5-7PM Monday, Tuesdays, and Sundays 10AM-12PM. Boys Soccer Try-Outs will run from 10PM-12PM on 8/19, 8/20, 8/21, 8/22, 8/23, 8/26, 8/27, 8/28, 8/29 and 8/30. The Soccer team will meet in the gym to start. They will practice at Dewitt Clinton Park on 11th Ave. and West 52nd St. Boys Soccer Practice (once school starts): 5-7PM Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays 10AM-12PM.
