Welcome to Blackboard.

Your course may use the Blackboard system. You may miss important

information, and quizzes, if you do not access your course on Blackboard.

To sign on

1. The URL is http://blackboard.centennialcollege.ca

(or, within the college network, simply key blackboard in the Location or Address bar of your web browser. 2. You have to login. Your USERNAME is your student number, without the hyphens (the same I.D. you use for Pipeline). Your initial PASSWORD is your date of birth (yyyymmdd); CHANGE YOUR PASSWORD! a. On the left side of your Bb home page is a TOOLS box.

Select Personal Information to get to the page that lets you change your password. Passwords are case-sensitive.

You get to a course by selecting the course name link in the My Courses area on the right side of your Bb home page.

You do not have to logout to go from one course to another. You can use the My Institution tab or the Courses tab near the top of the Blackboard window to

link to your Blackboard course list.

7. If you forget your password, use the Forgot your

password?

link on the login page. You will receive an email message on your MYCENTENNIAL email. The message will contain a hyperlink to a page that lets you create a new password. 8. Report Blackboard access problems to your professor, not the HelpDesk.
