Eligibility
T
he appliance
must have an
ENERGY STAR
rating and be installed in a
permanent residence receiving
service from Central Electric
Cooperative (CEC). For clothes
washer and dishwasher rebates,
an electric water heater is
required.
Easy Steps
1. Purchase an eligible ENERGY STAR
clothes washer, dishwasher, or refrig-
erator. Your retailer should have a list
of qualifying brands and model
numbers or you can look at a list of
Energy Star models at
www.northwestenergystar.com
2. Complete, sign, and submit the
rebate application. Don’t forget to
include your sales receipt (copies are
acceptable) listing the brand and
model number of the appliance(s).
3. Mail To:

within 30 days.

A. Compared to conventional models,
ENERGY STAR clothes washers cut energy and
water consumption by over 40%.
In addition to energy and water savings,
ENERGY STAR clothes washers have other
advantages compared to conventional models.
Q. How much energy and water do ENERGY
STAR dishwashers save?
A. Compared to the federal minimum standard
for energy consumption, ENERGY STAR dish-
washers use 40% less energy per year and save
up to 800 gallons of water annually.
Q. Are tax credits available for efficient
appliances?
A. Oregon offers a tax credit for qualifying

Q. How much energy do ENERGY STAR
refrigerators save?
A. ENERGY STAR qualified refrigerators
