    What should you do? -1st step: pick the easier and shorter passages you want to do, and save the hardest passage for last -Read the poem 4 times: skim it, annotate, read out loud in mind, and paraphrase -Pay attention to the title -Use footnote Tips -Remember 5 Ws and H (who, what, when, where, why, how) -Identify the speaker (person/ object) -Find the main idea BEFORE you start the questions
