Curriculum- The students will learn about several types of presentation software throughout the quarter and will

be required to create a presentation for each. They will be assigned topics to present on. The topics assigned will include concepts that the students are currently learning about in their other classes. Classroom Rules- The students are expected to follow the school rules that are outlined in the student handbook as well as the rules that we will go over regarding internet safety. Presentations- This is a project based class; therefore, no homework will be assigned. The majority of the students grade will be based on their presentations which will be completed in class. For each presentation, they will be graded on clarity and neatness, multimedia, spelling and grammar, content, and required elements. Before beginning each presentation, the students will be given the rubric used for grading so they know exactly what is expected of them. The students will also have the opportunity to earn participation points throughout the quarter. Grading ScaleA=100-94% B=93-87% C= 86-78% D= 77-70% F= 69-0%

Communication- To have a successful school year, open communication between student, parent, and teacher is necessary. Communication via phone and email will be one of my top priorities.
