The human congnitive learning is the process that helps us to understand better as a second language, to understand and imitate others. mimic which is a clear example, because it's something we imitate daily to communicate with others through gestures. Animals have a very similar behavior to that of humans but they put into practice the mime nothing more, however we have the ability and way at analyzing things, to think differently and correct and that is why that a learner's second language or second language is easier. Our way a learner is developed differently so our behavior is different, the way to acquire information and make things is because our brain has the function at analyzing, understanding, and give ideas simultaneously. Knowledge we obtained every day is captured and stored by our brain and so does their development and the ability to retain a lot of information and have extensive knowledge.
