Improvement of individuals by ability. Non-competitive. Participation is voluntary. Freedom of choice. Very flexible. Open to all.

How It Works
Available to anyone between 14 to 25 years
The minimum duration for pursuing the Bronze, Silver and Gold Standard is 6, 12 and 18 months respectively.

Three Levels
Bronze
Must be 14 years. Work for 6 months min Must be 15 years. Work for 12 months min Must be 16 years. Work for 18 months min

Silver

For each level, participants have to complete the requirements of each of the 4 different sections. Qualifying standards are measured in terms of progress, proficiency and sustained effort.

Service
To encourage a sense of responsibility to the community

Skill
To encourage the development of cultural, vocational or practical skills

Physical Recreation
To encourage improved performance and enjoyment of physical activity

Adventurous Journey
To cultivate a spirit of adventure, discovery and teamwork with an understanding of the environment

Residential Project (Gold Level)


Participants must complete an additional requirement. The aim being to broaden the participants experience through involvement with others in a residential setting.
