STATUS

Primarily about improving semantics in PB Act for clarity (clarifications on rules of appointment, procedures, composition of Broadcasting Council etc.)

Act has been amended a few times. Another major amendment exercise is on in the Ministry after GoM recommendations.

Did not focus on ideational Parliament committee has issues asked Prasar Bharti to send fresh recommendations
