This weeks homework: 1. SPELLING: Task: 1) Practise your spelling words using LCWC (remember you need 4 columns). 2) NO SENTENCES focus on ASPIRE 3) For those who have graduated past green spelling: 2. ASPIRE This week you are to focus on the accumulation and sorting phases of you ASPIRE project. Make sure to document all your work and file it into one of your Inquiry folders. Make use of the handouts to help guide your process. You are welcome to work on the sorting and planning process if you are ready for these stages Task: 1) Complete all 7 tasks on the Breaking down the Accumulation stage sheet Have your questions ready to be signed off by Mr Cooke 2) Complete the SMART Goals sheet 3. READING: Task: 1) Personal reading for at least 15 minutes per night 2) In your homework book record: The title of your book When and how long you read for and the page numbers you read Write a brief (2-3 sentences) summary of what has happened in your story over the week. Complete your List 1 exercises sheet

4. SPEECHES / Persuasive writing Ensure that your speech is written in full and that you have a plan for this text ready to be photocopied by Mr Cooke and assessed.

5. SIGNED: Task: 1) Get your completed homework signed by a parent or caregiver.
