My mission is to provide clients with communication strategies that empower them to succeed. I specialize in strategies that achieve fundraising goals and increase client visibility. For the last 8 years, I have worked with magazines, newspapers, universities, non-profit organizations, businesses, and individuals.

Professional Writing Provide clients with documentation that furthers their professional goals. This includes: resumes, cover letters, biographies, reviews, and interviews. Non-Profit and Business Writing Provide clients with content that helps non-profits and businesses develop and prosper. This includes: grant proposals, reports, fundraising materials (appeal letters, invitations, e-blasts, etc.), mission and vision statements, strategic plans, and other technical content. Public Relations Provide clients with a range of content to promote their service, product, or creative work. This includes: articles, press releases, social media, newsletters, web content, and other external communications. Creative Writing Provide clients with creative content for special occasions. Flowers are nice, but you can make a powerful impression through a personalized poem or short story. Editing and Research Provide clients with constructive feedback and clear, clean content. This comprehensive program allowed me to work with prominent Appalachian fiction authors Ron Rash and Pamela Duncan, international technical and business communication leader Xiaoli Li, and intern with the universitys Public Relations department. This competitive program allowed me to work with pre-eminent Ruskin scholar and author Sharon Weltman and Southwest Louisiana folklorist Carolyn Ware. This educational experience culminated in presenting a paper at the Louisiana Folklore Conference, one of the most popular folklore conferences in the nation.
