    Composition:

    Resin matrix ( Diacrylate monomer) Inorganic filler (silica or glass particle) Coupling agent ( organo silane) Chemical or photo initiators & activators

    Liquid: 1. Methyl methacrylate. 2. Tertiary amine. Mode of supply: 1. Chemically activated: a) Powder &liquid b) Two paste system. 2. Light activated : a) Single paste system b) Dual cure two paste system.

    Properties :
    Irritating to the pulp .so pulp protection with calcium hydroxide is necessary. Insoluble in oral fluids. Polymerization shrinkage is high. Not adhere to enamel or dentine. (Enamel bonding can be attained by acid etched technique. Dentine bonding can be attained by dentine bonding agents.)
