Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

I am requesting funding for Baltimore City Gun Violence Reduction Initiative in Fiscal Year
2010. The entity to receive funding for this project is the City of Baltimore, located at 242 W.
29th Street, Baltimore, Maryland, 21211. The funding would be used for methods to reduce
violent crime, eradicate the gang stronghold on distressed communities, and disrupt the pipeline
that leads illegal firearms into Baltimore.
