Dear Chairman Obey and Ranking Member Lewis:

I am requesting funding for the Regional Interoperable Communication Project in fiscal year
2010. The entity to receive funding for this project is Weathersfield Township located at 1451
Prospect Street, Mineral Ridge, OH 44440. These funds will be used to update and improve our
interoperable communication system by building a 190 foot self supporting communication
tower with foundation so that the three communities of Weathers field Township, City of Niles
and Village of McDonald, will be able to communicate effectively for all emergency forces,
police, fire and road departments. I certify that I have no financial interest in this project.
