Dear Chainnan Obey and Ranking Member Lewis,

I am requesting funding for police equipment including a license plate reader in

the fiscal year 20 I O. The entity to receive funding for this project is the Village of
Briarcliff Manor, located at 1111 Pleasantville Road, Briarcliff Manor, NY 10510. The
funding would be used to assist the police in finding missing persons, retrieving stolen
vehicles, identifing expired vehicle registrations, and apprehending fugitives more
rapidly. I certify that neither I nor my spouse has any financial interest in this project.
