UNIVOLT N 61
Univolt is the trademark for two highly oxidation-resistant electrical insulating oils. Univolt 60 is a traceinhibited mineral oil designed for use in all types of electrical equipment. Univolt N 61 is Univolt 60 that has been fully inhibited to provide even greater oxidation resistance; it is especially recommended for use in electrical equipment that is not nitrogen blanketed, such as distribution and substation transformers. Other desirable properties that make Univolt a highly effective insulating and cooling medium include: low viscosity; high dielectric strength; negative gassing tendency; high flash point; low pour point; absence of acid, alkali, and corrosive sulfur; and compatibility with the materials used in transformer construction.
