Jol unlucky.

So far this season I have been unconvinced with Fulhams performances, the low work rate of the strikers with the lack of pace in the middle has seen the Cottagers slip down the league. Points have been dropped in the last minute at home to West Brom (2 points dropped) and Cardiff (1 point dropped), Fulham need to start taking leads of 2 goals to ensure victory. The strikers are, like Chelsea, the issue in not seeing games off and securing the 3 points. I will investigate the striker that remained on the pitch for the full 90 minutes as substitutes often deploy tactic changes.

The strikers lack of influence in and around the area has been influential in Fulhams poor performances. Bent and Berbatov need to form a partnership, Taarabt needs to do more to change the game once hes on and Kasami, despite his lack of experience, needs to create more chances. Fulhams aging squad has declined steadily and the likes of Karagounis, Sidwell, Parker, Duff, Hangeland, Berbatov, Boateng, Hughes, Riise, Stekelenberg and Riether are all 30 or over with their best years behind them.
