Villas-Boas changes causing issues?

A penalty is a cowardly way to score - Pel Tottenham appear to be taking the same amount of shots as last season but still havent scored from open play in their first three matches of the 2013/2014 season.

Without Gareth Bale the remaining attacking outlets are; firstly Soldado, and then Defoe.

The point of having goal scorers is to have creative players behind them and create chances for the player up top. There is no point having your goal scorer in the middle of the pitch hence the lack of open play goals from Tottenham. The amount of shots being taken hasnt changed much since last year but the clinical nature of the forwards has declined.
