Brazil
Brazil is the 5th largest country in the world and has the 6th largest population. It covers almost half of South America and its borders touch 10 other countries.

Flag of Brazil
The National Flag was adopted of November 1889. It is based on a green rectangle with a yellow diamond and, within this, a blue circle representing a celestial sphere, in the middle of this ball is crossed a white band with the national motto, "Order and Progress",and twenty seven stars white, which represent the states and the Federal District .

Customs of Brazil
Brazil has a population of approximately 148 million, the capital of Brazil is Brasilia.
1. The Samba Dance: Dance style purely from Brazil, it's a fusion of Bolero from Spain with africanrythms.

Carnivals: It's the most popular party in the whole country. It starts on wednesday ashes. The most famous is the Rio de Janeiro's Carnival.

Folia de Reis (King's party): January's celebration in which children and young people dress in white and ask donations to the community, singing and playing instruments.

In the sport subject: Soccer, the most popular sport in the world, also the most practiced in the country.

The Capoeira: It's Brazilian Martial Art that's a mixture of dancing and playing.

Traditions
Brazil is the only South American country that does not speak Spanish. Its official language is Portuguese , and therefore must speak in Portuguese or English.

The proximity of the Brazilians is physical and human. They like to be close in their behaviors and actions. You should not feel intimidated by its proximity to the time to talk to you.

Women usually greet kissing. Traditionally usually give two kisses if they are married and three if you are single. But this is only usual among Brazilian women . They do not usually greet this way foreign women .
