Propose + gerund bermakna mengusulkan Andrew proposes going to Bali next holiday to the class. Propose + to infinitive bermakna bermaksud Andrew proposes to go to Bali next holiday. Bermakna sama dengan: Andrew will go to Bali next holiday, 3. Stop + gerund yang berhenti adalah aktivitas yang dinyatakan oleh Gerundnya. Jane stopped playing video game (bermakna Jane berhenti main video game.) Jane stopped to play video game (bermakna Jane berhenti mengerjakan sesuabu wank bermain video game.)

    4. Forget +gerund aktivitas yang dinyatakan gerund sudah dilakukan, tetapi unsur lainnya terlupa, misal: kapan dan di mana.
