    Summer Leadership Camp


    Young Leading Women (YLW) invites you to attend our
    FREE 3 DAY Summer Leadership camp!!!

    Wednesday, August 26th through


    Friday, August 28th

    The 3 day leadership camp will begin on Wednesday at the


    OCAPICA youth programs office, where we will spend the day team
    building and learning about issues revolving around Human
    Trafficking (HT).

    After dinner, we will head up to the BEAR PAW PRESERVE Cabin/


    Camp site (in SAN BERNADINO mountains) to spend the next two
    nights. Over the two days at the camp site, we will go through
    simulations based on human trafficking issues,
    participate in art and journal reflection,
    team building, and
    how we can make policy change to make a differ-
    ence in this world issue!!

    We hope that you will join us to be a part of this life changing


    opportunity, share in experiences with other young leaders, and
    gain leadership skill that will last a life time!

    Camp will begin at OCAPICA Youth Programs office at 9:30am


    on Wednesday and we will return by 6pm on
    Friday for youth to be picked up.

    Please fill out the OCAPICA YOUTH PROGRAMS APPLICATION and


    turn into ASHLEY CHERI at the OCAPICA office by FRIDAY, JULY 31,
    2009.

    Come join YLW at our Summer Leadership Camp!

    Young Leading Women (YLW) creates change, builds awareness, and advocates for social justice through
    creative art and expression. We provide space for young women of color, 13-18 years old, to explore advo-
    cacy through arts.
