    I am pleased to inform you that your Stewardship application for your White River Park Acquisition Project has been tentatively selected to receive a grant in the amount of $95 5, I 00. The project selection procsss was very competitive but your proposal scored well enough to receive funding. Please advise us in *riting if you will accept this grant award as soon as possible. Prior to issuance of this grant, we will be revie.w'ing your project to ensure that it meets all applicable federal lax's, state statutes, and administrative rules. Actual grant agreements wiil be mailed to you upon completion of this review and the project receiving final approval by the Direclor, Bureau of Facilities and Lands. Please note that you should not purchase the property prior to retuming your signed grant agreement to us unless !'ou are willing to assume the risk of absorbing those ccsts. This letter is only a preliminary selection of your project for funding and the Department may identify issues that would iead to only padal funding or a denial of the application in full. Additionalty, this grant award is contingent upon Walworth Counqv adopting an ordinance allowing hunting and trapping on this park property and, because of the size of the proposed grant, the grant award must be approved by the legislature's Joint Committee oa Finance.
